The Yoganurse Academy has over the years carefully selected and trained excellent nurses with a passion for integrating therapeutic yoga and medicine. Their mission is to releive suffering and create a more conscious, healthful and peaceful lifestyle for healthcare professionals and patients alike. Each of our CYN’s are authorized to facilitate the YogaNurse Model of Care and the YogaNursing process and to teach our official trademarked ™ YogaNurse® program.
With rising healthcare costs, because of chronic illness, stress, accidents, absenteeism and burnout, people are in need of solutions. Many of our CYN’s work with nurses and other professionals either one-on-one or in large groups and communities such as hospitals, churches, colleges, government and businesses with the aim to provide solutions for wellness in the workplace. Combined with their own unique skillsets, every CYN on our list has something special to offer. We hold each of them in high esteem and trust them fully to deliver quality care for your individual needs or the needs of your community.

How can a Certified YogaNurse assist me?
All of our nurses have been trained to teach the YogaNursing program to any individual or group that seeks to create workplace wellness for nurses and other healthcare professionals. We also help nurses formulate new ways to approach patient care. Combining the science of modern nursing with the wisdom of ancient yoga, the aim is to ease suffering and bring back the joy in the nursing profession. Each of our Certified YogaNurses are passionate about making a change in the nursing consciousness and therefore nursing wellness. They can run workshops, speak at your events, offer one-on-one coaching and training, inspire employers to take a more holistic approach toward nursing staff and their patients. In addition to all of this, each CYN has a unique blend of skills and experiences to offer and they all believe in taking a holistic approach to wellness.

What do I do if there are no contact details available for a CYN on your directory.
First, apologies for the extra steps you need to take to get in touch with the CYN of your choice. Many of our CYN’s are in the process of creating their own online presence and some might be focused more on their local communities. Please contact us and we’ll do our best to connect you.
