I’m Angela Sisk, a cancer RN, yoga teacher, and Certified Yoga Nurse. I am so happy to connect with you. I work as an Oncology Nurse Navigator at Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital in Houston, TX. I have been an oncology for 18 years and a yogini for almost as long.
I decided to become a yoga teacher because knowing the benefits;
I wanted to teach yoga to people with cancer. I currently teach a chair yoga class every week for patients with cancer, disabilities, and chronic illness. I also teach stress management classes to health care professionals and will soon be teaching Yoga Nursing Workshops with continuing education for nurses! I am a certified Yoga Nurse trained by Annette Tersigni, RN. I am passionate about the mission of Yoga Nursing, “To create a global army of modern nightingales, Yoga Nurses, to uplift and expand consciousness in health care; relieve stress, anxiety pain and suffering, and improve quality of life for nurses and their patients worldwide.”
